A short drive northeast to Findhorn Bay or west to the town of Forres, the cottage offers the best of both worlds being at once private and hidden away but close enough to benefit from everything Moray has to offer. We have recently created a golf course at Dalvey; it might not be Walker Cup-ready yet but guests are welcome to enjoy it.

The cottage has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a super king bed that can be split into twins and a double room is situated at the other end of the house. There is a family bathroom with shower and good-sized bath. All towels are of a high quality and you will be provided with excellent complimentary toiletries to see you through your stay.

The main door opens into a well-equipped, bright and airy kitchen with a dining table for four people. The sitting room is spacious and comfortable with a large L-shaped sofa offering plenty of room to gather around the open fireplace in Winter months.

Outside the cottage is a gravelled patio area that is perfect for Summer BBQs and taking in the sun with a nice glass of something chilled. Beyond that, there is ample garden space for children to muck about, for a paddling pool or a game of football. Whatever the kids like to do, there is room for them to get on with it.

We provide superfast Wi-Fi and an Amazon Fire TV Stick so there is plenty of choice for children’s programmes and TV shows for every guest. There are board games aplenty, too. If a cot is required for younger children, just let us know. If you have any specific needs for your family holiday, contact us and we will see how we can help make your stay perfect.

There is ample space for up to four cars and a large shed, adjoining the house, offers space for you to store your bikes, fishing gear, golfing or other outdoor equipment. Being stair and step-free, Ploughman’s is also accessible for everyone’s needs.

Whatever the reason for visiting the Highlands, we will do whatever we can to make you comfortable and happy.
