Nestled in barley fields and facing South West for incredible sunsets all year round, Mill Cottage is secluded enough for a peaceful break but close enough to Forres and its amenities for all your needs. With the coast and castles just a short journey away, this is the perfect Highland getaway for family and friends.
The accommodation boasts two king size bedrooms with high-quality furnishings and linen. All towels are supplied and complimentary luxury toiletries are also provided. The living room has a wood burning stove, comfortable seating, plenty of natural light and the whole room oozes cosiness. Sit close by the fire to warm your toes or sink into a comfy sofa with friends and a glass of wine (or cocoa)! We will provide enough logs to get you started and more if you let us know in advance.
The kitchen has all the appliances you need and is bright and airy. The dining room is next door with seating for four guests. There are tasteful, homely touches to the decor all around to make the cottage feel like a home-from-home. We want you to feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you cross the threshold.
Lots of outdoor space means there is plenty of room for children to play, friends to gather, BBQs to be fired up and for al fresco dining in the Summer months. The cottage is ideally situated to take in the Sunshine Coast and all the delights that the Highlands have to offer including access to Dalvey Estate on your doorstep. With wonderful walks and amazing views right outside the cottage, a memorable, refreshing break from the hustle and bustle can be experienced without even leaving the area.
As with all our cottages, we provide superfast Wi-Fi and an Amazon Fire TV Stick so there is plenty of choice for children’s programmes and TV shows for every guest.
There are board games for your entertainment and if a cot is required for younger children, just let us know. We are happy when our guests are happy so please contact us beforehand to let us know if there is anything you need to make your stay more comfortable.
There is ample parking space for up to four cars and a large shed with space for your bikes, fishing gear, golfing or other outdoor equipment.
